Online Majlis: hang out with friends by voice from anywhere
4 November 2026 · Jakoz Gaming
The majlis is where Gulf friendships live: tea, coffee, stories and arguments about football. When friends move cities or countries, an online Majlis keeps that evening going. Here is what a voice Majlis on Jakoz offers and how to use it.
What is an online Majlis?
A free voice room for up to 8 people. No game needed: you join and talk. Everyone sits around a carpet on screen, and a ring lights up around whoever is speaking.
Start one in seconds
- Open Jakoz and tap the Majlis card.
- Allow the microphone.
- Tap Invite for friends on your list, or Share to send the link on WhatsApp.
The controls
- Mic button: mute and unmute yourself.
- Speaker button: switch everyone else's sound off and on with one tap.
- Loudspeaker or headset: choose where the sound plays.
- Signal bars: green, orange or red for each person's connection.
- Majlis chat: text and emojis for the people in the room, never saved.
Show your style
Your picture, frame and profile banner appear at your seat. Change them and everyone in the Majlis sees the new look straight away.
Private by design
Voice goes between phones and is never recorded. You can mute, block or report anyone.
From talk to a game
Someone says "Baloot?" Open a table, share the code, and you're playing while you keep talking. Press back to use the rest of the app while staying in the call.
