How to host an online game night with friends (step by step)
6 November 2026 · Jakoz Gaming
Your friends are spread across Dubai, Riyadh and Kuwait, or just across town on a weeknight. You can still have a proper game night together. Here is a simple plan that works every time.
1. Pick a time and a host
One person hosts. Send the time in your group chat a day before: “Thursday 9 pm, Jakoz game night.” Thursday and Friday evenings are the easiest in the Gulf.
2. Start in the Majlis
The host opens a Majlis and shares the link. Everyone joins by voice first, says hello and settles in. Nobody has to download anything; the link opens in the browser.
3. Choose games for the group size
- 4 people: Baloot, Jakaro or Speed ♠ in two teams.
- 2 to 4 people: Ludo or ONO for fast, noisy rounds.
- Odd numbers: two tables at once, or a Chess match while the others play Ludo.
4. Share one room link
Tap Play with friends, then send the link or the 6-letter code. Empty seats can be filled with computer players so nobody waits.
5. Keep it fun
- Rotate partners every few games so teams stay even.
- Play for coins, not money. Coins are only for fun and stakes at the table.
- Use the quick chat and emoji reactions for the big moments.
- End back in the Majlis to chat about the best plays.
Start your first game night now: open Jakoz.
