Winter camping in the Gulf: the best games for the desert camp

6 November 2026 · Jakoz Gaming

When the weather cools, the Gulf goes camping: tents in the desert, gatherings by the beach, long nights around the fire. Between the barbecue and the stargazing, games keep the camp going. Here is what to play.

By the fire: Baloot and Jakaro

Four friends, two teams, a lot of shouting. Baloot and Jakaro are made for camp nights. Forgot the cards and the board? Play on your phones and let the server shuffle and keep score.

For the kids before bed: Ludo and ONO

Ludo and ONO are quick, noisy and easy to learn. Pass one phone around if signal is weak.

For the friends who stayed in the city

Open a Majlis voice room so friends at home can join the conversation, or even a game, from their sofa.

Camp tips

• Most desert camps near cities have mobile data; one strong phone can share a hotspot.
• A power bank keeps the games going all night.
• Turn the screen brightness down to save battery and your night vision.

Pack the tea, the firewood and the link: play on Jakoz.
